6 reasons to check in early for your flight at Singapore Changi Airport

By  |  0 Comments

Checking in early is no longer counter intuitive. Changi Airport has a whole bunch of activities for departure passengers to enjoy.

Passengers departing from Singapore Changi Airport can enjoy early check-in with a range of airlines. Common early check-in counters have been set up at Terminals 2 (Row 7) and 3 (Row 10), and an early check-in lounge at Terminal 1 (near Row 5). These counters are open from 6am to 12 midnight daily.

There are 23 airlines that offer common check in and a total of 49 airlines including those that have their own dedicated check in counters. Passengers can check the details of the terminals, rows and counters on the Changi Airport website.

We share six reasons that you might consider heading to Changi Airport for an early check in for, categorised by time.

“I might need to rush a little” (Flight is 2 hours away)

Charge your devices, send out emails and get a cuppa coffee

If you are heading away for a business trip, consider finding one of the many charging stations across all three terminals that overlook the airside. These will help you keep your devices fully powered up to hit the ground running at your destination. These stations are usually located near cafes, so pick up a coffee and send out those last few emails before enjoying your flight.

Enjoy a free drink at the T3 DFS Duplex’s Raffles Long Bar

Get a head start on your holiday with some drinks on the house! If you are departing from Changi Airport Terminal 3, visit the Raffles Long Bar at the T3 DFS Duplex and try out some cocktails.

Pro Tip: The DFS Cocktail Festival is taking place until the end of June. Drop by Raffles Long Bar during the weekends to catch guest bartending sessions to present their interpretation of a Singapore inspired cocktail, exclusively designed for the festival.

Pro Tip 2: We heard the bar has a stash of single malt whiskies that they can serve up, instead of cocktails.

“Enough time to Shop, Eat and Chill” (Flight is 3 hours away)
