Conrad Centennial Singapore celebrates the annual mid-autumn festival with new mooncake flavours presented in luxurious treasure boxes.
Available from 1 August to 15 September, award-winning Chinese restaurant, Golden Peony, commemorates the celestial festival with four new mini snowskin flavours alongside perennial favourites.
This year, anticipate two new alcoholic flavours – Champagne & Strawberry and Rum & Raisin; as well as two non-alcoholic flavours – Cranberry Cheese and Green Tea with White Chocolate. With an exquisite combination of ingredients present in each flavour, it’s difficult to go wrong with any of Golden Peony’s snowskin mooncake offerings.
If you love a little hint of alcohol in your mooncakes, the Champagne & Strawberry flavour would make a great option especially for the ladies. A sure hit among the younger ones would be the Green Tea with White Chocolate flavour, as its soft green tea infused snowskin unveils a slightly crisp white chocolate center that will certainly please the senses.
All mini snowskin flavours come in a box of eight, and retail at SGD 64 per box.
For those who prefer the classic mooncake flavours, Golden Peony will continue to offer its range of traditional flavours which include the Traditional Baked White Lotus Paste (SGD 64 for box of four) and the Traditional Baked with Mixed Nuts (SGD 72 for box of four).
The well-loved signature Sweet Potato Mooncake in Crispy Filo Pastry (SGD 64 for box of eight) will also make a comeback this year.
This year, Conrad will present their mooncakes in a luxurious treasure box available in three colours – Velvet Red, Luxe Gold, and a limited edition Antique Gold with subtle floral print.
