Alpecin’s latest product combines the power of Alpecin Caffeine Shampoo with dark colour pigments to tackle hair loss while protecting against gradual hair colour fade.

Why do so many men have a problem with grey hair?

The first few grey hairs, especially those discovered in the mirror in the morning, are alarming because maybe now you are getting old; it’s a visible sign of ageing. Everybody wants to stay youthful and virile, especially for his or her partner. That’s why people are so troubled with their grey hair.

From a scientific perspective, the process is simple though the reasons for greying are not yet entirely clear. With age, hair roots increasingly lose their ability to form colouring melanin pigments so the hair shaft gradually turns white. As more strands of hair lose their pigments, the hair will look progressively greyer due to the mix of white and naturally coloured hair.

With the Alpecin Tuning Shampoo, men can maintain their dark hair, as the black shampoo contains special dark pigments that attach to the surface of the hair to cover up lighter patches and counteract the greying process,  helping to achieve hair that is dark, healthy and glossy.

Also, just like the Alpecin Caffeine Shampoo, the Tuning Shampoo also contains a powerful caffeine complex of caffeine, zinc and niacin – the same active ingredients used to prevent hair loss. The Alpecin Tuning Shampoo will be available in selected Watsons, Guardian, Unity, NHG pharmacies and independent pharmacies as well as NTUC Fairprice island-wide from 18 September 2015 at S$15.90. Each bottle is 200ml.
