Aquarama/Pet Asia 2015
Asia’s biggest ornamental fish, invertebrates, plants and accessories exhibition is back.
This year, Suntec Singapore Convention & Exhibition Centre will play host to the 14th edition of Aquarama – Asia’s biggest international ornamental fish, invertebrates, plants and accessories exhibition. The exhibition will be opened to trade visitors from 28 – 30 May (afternoon) and to the public from 30 May (afternoon) till 31 May, and with it follows its independent sister show, the 5th edition of Pet Asia 2015. Pet Asia will open to both trade and public visitors through 29 – 31 May with a total of 100 exhibitors from 20 countries.
As usual, all the popular and now-established Aquarama components will be featured, one of them being the highly popular International Fish Competition whereby visitors are able to marvel at some of the highly popular aquarium fish breeds, with the entrants being judged by a panel of international experts.
Away from the competitive arena, Aquarama’s proven reputation for attracting specialist international speakers for its Trade and Public Seminars will once more ensure that attendees will be able to bring themselves bang up to date with all the latest news and information affecting the worldwide ornamental aquatic industry. A perfect example is the introduction of the world of public aquaria to Aquarama 2015. This year, thee Public Aquaria Committee and its members have come up with an exciting programme of activities such as a Round Table Discussion and a Public Aquaria Seminar, where topics ranging from sustainable harvesting for both industries, to artificial insemination of sharks and rays, will be addressed by an international panel of top experts.
Moving away from aquatics to pets in general, Pet Asia is once again, being held alongside but independently from Aquarama, with its own programme of activities. This show will open one day after Aquarama and will last for three days. Highlights well worth noting are: Day 1 – Pet Style Grooming Examination and Dog Grooming Examination; Day 2 – Dog Obedience Competition; Day 3 – National Rabbit Show, Fancy Rabbit Show and Cavy (Guinea Pig) Show.
