ASUS Touts its New ‘Pocket Cinema’ Smartphone
Looking for a nice multimedia phone to watch movies and TV shows on? ASUS’ new ZenFone 2 Laser seems tailor-made for the job.
The new ZenFone 2 Laser 6.0-inch FHD (ZE601KL) features a Full HD display, as well as dual five-magnet speakers, which ASUS says offers up to 80% better audio performance. Of course, it’s not just a ‘pocket cinema’, as the new ‘phablet’ is also well-equipped in other departments to give you a complete smartphone experience.
In keeping with the trend these days, the ZenFone 2 Laser sports a mid-range Qualcomm Snapdragon 616 processor and 3GB of RAM. It’s also equipped with well-spec’d cameras (13-megapixel rear, 5-megapixel front) that feature speedy, laser auto-focus for near instant snaps (as quick as 0.03 seconds) as well as a manual mode for those who want to more control over their photography.
The phone comes stock with 32GB of built-in storage and microSD support (up to 128GB). In addition, the user-removeable 3,000mAh battery gives you more options to manage your battery life.
The ZenFone 2 Laser 6.0-inch FHD (ZE601KL) is available now in three colours (Glacier Grey/Glamour Red/Sheer Gold) from all three telcos and ASUS authorised retailers for S$379.
