For the month of August, Gardens by the Bay has in store a series of exciting events for all.

“Orchid Extravaganza” Floral Display
Still ongoing this August at the Gardens is the “Orchid Extravaganza” Floral Display held in the Flower Dome. Designed by Singaporean garden landscape designer Alan Tan, “Orchid Extravaganza” will intrigue visitors with its stunning display of over 200 orchid species and hybrids. Be sure to enter the enchanting world of orchids at the Orchid Extravaganza, which be available till 28 August, from 9am to 9pm.
For more interesting information about orchids, visitors may embark on an Orchid Extravaganza Garden Trail; or alternatively, join one of the daily “ASK Me!” tours hosted by Display Interpreters who will share fascinating botanical facts and anecdotes about floral display. These 15-minute tours are free of charge and available daily from 11am to 3pm till 28 August. To participate, visitors simply have to gather at the “ASK Me!” poster near the Flower Field.
Majestic Bay Seafood Restaurant Celebrates National Day
In celebration of the nation’s birthday, Majestic Bay will present its signature Kopi Crab at SGD 51++ (usual price is SGD 68++ for 1kg) for the entire month of August. The must-try crab is cooked with a special sauce made from three different varieties of coffee beans before it is flambéed at the table with a mixture of rice wine and coffee beans in the coffee liqueur. This promotional rate is available for lunch and dinner till 31 August, with a maximum of two orders per table.
