Bask In The Sentosa Eggsperience This March
In conjunction with the March School Holidays and the long Easter weekend this March, Sentosa is offering a fun-filled itinerary of activities for all.
Family Activities For All
Mark your calendars this March school holidays for the Sentosa KidZ Flea and watch the young ones become their own mini bosses. From 12 to 19 March at the Merlion Plaza, the award-winning programme offers the kids a great opportunity to hone their entrepreneurial skills. From creating products for sale to dealing with customers, these little entrepreneurs (also known as “PLAY-trepreneurs”) will acquire useful life skills through experiential learning. In addition, impart values of compassion and empathy to the children by encouraging them to donate their earnings to the Autism Association (Singapore). The Sentosa KidZ Flea programme is suitable for children aged seven to 12.
After spending some quality time at the flea, head down to Good Old Days at the Beach Station (Beach Plaza) and treat the family to a delectable local spread of delicacies. Savour local favourites such as Singapore Chicken rice, Singapore Laksa, Beef Hor Fun and Satay.
After a hearty meal, make the family outing a memorable one with a visit to the Sentosa Merlion Magic Lights – a dazzling video, light and sound show available from 4 to 31 March at the Merlion Plaza. The popular tourist destination would make a great location for photo opportunities.
Easter Activities
From 25 to 27 March, spend the long Easter weekend with the family at Sentosa’s whimsical Easter garden. Located along Palawan Beach, the Sentosa Egg Fiesta – Garden Edition will offer several photo points such as Humpty Dumpty and Carrot Land; as well as activities such as egg painting and bunny photo prop making.
From 10 March to 10 April, gather your friends and family on an egg hunt around Sentosa Harbourfront with The Great Egg-Venture, and win attractive prizes. Other Easter activities to look out for include S.E.A Aquarium’s Ocean Eggsploration and Universal Studios’ Easter Eggstravaganza.
