The new British Airways lounge hosts the first-ever Concorde bar

In celebration of the launch, British Airways is offering a complimentary one-way upgrade* to First for its Club World customers. Customers that are looking to stay at the Shangri-La Hotel, The Shard, London, they can look forward to receiving a SGD 120 voucher as well as a complimentary one way airport transfer.

This promotion is available on one leg of the flights operated between Singapore and London and subject to availability. Bookings must be done by 13 October through travel agents and valid for travel until 31 March 2016.

The lounge is decorated with artwork from established Singaporean and British artists, including Simon Wee and Dr Brendan Neiland. The main area offers customers a pace to work, relax or dine while waiting for their departure flights.

The new lounge features the airline’s first ever Concorde Bar, a tasteful and secluded area exclusive for British Airways First customers. The Concorde Bar features the digital panoramic views of the Singapore skyline reflecting the time of day. This can help customers connect with the time of day outside when travelling through time zones.

Access to the new lounge is limited to British Airways First and Club World business class customers, British Airways Executive Gold and Silver members, and oneworld frequent flyers with Emerald and Sapphire status. The Concorde Bar is exclusively for British Airways’ First customers and eligible guests.

*The one-way upgrade includes all the perks of travelling in British Airways’ First, such as access to the exclusive Concorde Bar in the new British Airways lounge at Changi Airport.
