Brother Launches New Mono Laser Series Of Printers

Brother International Singapore has just launched a new range of printers for their mono laser series.

With strong focus on high reliability, value and productivity for businesses, the Japan-designed models in the new range comprises of three mono laser printers greatly suited for home usage as well as two Multi-Function Centres serving high print volume office environments.

For home use, the entry level pair of ‘print only’ HL-L5100DN and HL-L6200DW can print up to 40 pages per minute (ppm) and 50 pages per minute (ppm) respectively. The HL-L5100DN comes with a 250-sheet paper input tray as standard while the HL-L6200DW sets itself apart by having a 520-sheet input tray; and if you include the 50-sheet multi-purpose tray, and the ability to add two more 520-sheet trays, the HL-L6200DW can have a total input capacity of 1,610 sheets.

And if the above two models are not enough for your needs, there’s the flagship HL-L6400DW model you can consider. The HL-L6400DW is also a single function printer that comes equipped with a print speed of up to 50ppm for A4, supports auto two-sided printing, mobile printing, gigabit Ethernet and wireless networking, and come with a 520-sheet input tray and 50-sheet multi-purpose tray. And if a 520-sheet input is not enough, this model’s capacity can be further expanded with additional paper trays. The HL-L6400DW can take four more 520-sheet trays to bring total capacity to 2,650 sheets. It can also add an 800-sheet four-bin Mailbox with stacker and sorter to bring total output capacity to 1,050 sheets.

In terms of operation, the new models as mentioned above can be easily managed over the network with Brother’s BRAdmin Professional Software and includes a suite of security solutions to ensure that documents remain confidential. It is also a network management tool that supports remote configurations and the monitoring of useful information such as page count, toner and drum status right from your desk.

As for convenience, Brother also supports the integration of mobile devices into the workflow with selected models. Brother iPrint&Scan, Apple AirPrint and Google Cloud Print enable users to print directly from their mobile devices.

The new mono laser series are available from 22 March 2016 onwards, with prices starting from S$588.
