Cafédirect Introduces New Americano Coffee Capsules
The UK hot drinks company has recently debuted its latest line of premium coffee capsules in Singapore – the Cafédirect Americano premium coffee.
Lovers of the well-loved Nespresso machines now have more capsule options to choose from with Cafédirect’s newest line of premium coffee capsules. The Cafédirect Americano premium coffee capsules are compatible with any Nespresso machine so coffee lovers can now enjoy premium Americano coffee with just the press of a button.
Made from 100 percent Arabica beans, each capsule boasts an intensity of 8 out of 12 and contains a 5.3 grams blend of Tanzanian and Mexican coffee. The combination creates a balance between the well-roundedness of Mexican coffee and the rich toffee notes of Tanzanian coffee, with a natural froth on the top for a velvety smooth finish.
As the Americano is a watered-down espresso, there is a higher proportion of water to coffee added. The resulting flavour is a lighter body with the aroma of an espresso still intact. Depending on one’s preference, the flavour of the Americano can easily be adjusted by adding different proportions of water.
To prepare a fresh brew, simply insert the pod into the Machine and select “Lungo”. Cafédirect Americano pods are priced at SGD 8.90 for a pack of 10, and are available at all FairPrice Xtra and FairPrice Finest outlets.
