Celebrate 111 Years of Thermos
Thermos celebrates its 111th year with an Anniversary Fair at Takashimaya from 2 to 14 July.
At the same time it is also releasing new models for its Shuttle Chef and Food Jar, now available in chic colours that are more in tune with the look and feel of the modern kitchen. Also available for a limited time is a special SG50-themed thermos flask, which thankfully doesn’t look cheesy.
The Shuttle Chef (RPE-3000)
The beloved vacuum insulated stainless steel thermal cooker now comes in two new colours: Carrot and Olive, although Olive is only available during promotional periods. The 3-litre thermal cooker is perfect for both indoor and outdoor use, and is especially handy in keeping food warm for the members in your family who take ages to come home for dinner. It retails for S$250.
The Food Jar (JBM-500)
For an easy way to have a warm meal at work or on the move, the 0.5 litre stainless steel Food Jar keeps food warm for up to six hours. It is available in black and green and retails for S$55.
SG50 Thermos Flask (JNL-350)
There’s a million and one SG50-themed memorabilia out there, but this is one of the better ones. Based on the popular JNL-350 model and designed by Visual Inconsideration, the tumbler sports Singapore’s most recognisable landmarks and icons. It retails for S$45, while stocks last.
111th Anniversary Fair
Util 14 July, Thermos will hold a celebratory fair at Takashimaya Shopping Centre Talking Hall. Here’re some of the best deals on offer. Also, on 11-12 July, 3-5pm, Le Cordon Bleu Chef Quek Jee Shan will conduct a series of cook off sessions and share some easy to prepare meals that work very well with a Shuttle Chef.
