Anantara Golden Triangle blends Christmas tradition with Thai culture

The Anantara Golden Triangle located in Chiang Rai, Thailand will be celebrating Christmas differently this year. Guests can expect to enjoy festive celebrations that combine essential comforts from home with cultural Thai twists  for a lasting impression of Christmas in Thailand.

On Christmas Eve, celebrations start with a long-drum parade up to the hilltop where cocktails are served to the sounds of local musicians and hill tribe dancing. Greeted by a baby elephant, soothed with massages and tucking in to delectable nibbles, the evening view out over the Golden Triangle takes your breath away.

The festivities continue as you are led to an extravagant gourmet buffet dinner infused with all the traditional trimmings expected, international delights and Thai classics. Feast on fresh Fin De Claire oysters, Thai tom yam talay and traditional roast turkey.
