Christmas Wonderland Returns Bigger, Brighter, Cooler

Singapore’s biggest yuletide fair, Christmas Wonderland, returns to Gardens by the Bay.

This year the event will showcase more, as it is almost doubled in size, with the entire area spanning 35,000 square metres from the entrance at the Golden Gardens, past the Supertree Grove and into The Meadows.

At Christmas Wonderland @ Gardens by the Bay, visitors can expect a wide variety of attractions that range from Italian Luminarie light sculptures, a European-style Festive Market, traditional rides and games, new entertainment segments (festive-themed choir and theatrical performances) and bigger crowd drawing attractions, such as the tallest slide in Singapore (14m tall) and the Swinging Chairs that offer a 360-degree panoramic view of the Gardens.

For those who want to experience a ‘white’ Christmas in the tropics, a wintry experience awaits at the Ice Palace. Located at the Supertree Grove, the Ice Palace offers visitors the opportunity to make their snow angels at the Snow Playground or glide on ice at the Ice Skating Rink.

Over at the Flower Dome, a brand-new Christmas Toyland floral display will be showcased. The display features a wide array of toys nestled amidst yuletide floral favourites like the poinsettia, Christmas rose, winter heather and holly. Forming the centerpiece of Christmas Toyland is an 11-metres-tall Christmas Pyramid decked with more toys that towers over the floral display.

Admission to the fairgrounds at Gardens By The Bay is free, but charges to the Flower Dome apply. For more information visit
