Climb For A Cause At Climb For Rainbows

By  |  0 Comments

This 8 October, participate in the inaugural Climb for Rainbows vertical marathon event to support and raise funds for charity.

Ever wanted to participate and challenge yourself in a vertical marathon while supporting a good cause? With Climb for Rainbows happening this 8 October 2016, participants will be able to test their physical limits on a gruelling stair-climbing workout, while helping to raise funds for Club Rainbow.

Club Rainbow is a charitable organisation that offers compassionate services to meet the needs of chronically ill children (from newborns to 20-year-olds) and their families. The event is set to raise funds as well as awareness of the daily struggles these children go through against their medical conditions.

The non-competitive race will be held at Suntec City Tower 1 and is set to flag off at 8am. Registration is free, however participants can set a target amount of funds they hope to raise from their friends and supporters for the charity. Even if participants do not hit their target amount of funds, they are still encouraged to join the vertical marathon to show their support. All participants will also receive a Climb for Rainbows T-shirt that they are required to wear during the race.

Those looking to support as a donor instead may check out the profiles of participating climbers here and make a donation accordingly.
