A first-of-its kind partnership, Uber and Spotify have teamed up to create the ultimate personalised soundtrack for your next ride. Uber is a mobile app that connects riders with transportation on-the-go while Spotify brings listeners the right music for any occasion.
With this new partnership, Uber and Spotify Premium users can now personalise their Uber ride by playing their favourite Spotify tracks right through the car’s speakers. Simply connect your Spotify account with the Uber app, request for a ride and select music from any of Uber’s featured playlists or your own playlists through the Uber app. You can also choose to select your music through your Spotify app.
Since Singapore is one out of the 10 global launch cities, this is good news for travellers coming into Singapore. Feel a sense of familiarity even when you travel to a foreign city as you now have the power to play your own music on your ride.
This new Uber and Spotify integration is available to all Uber and Spotify Premium users on iOS and Android (with limited features) and can be activated only on Spotify-enabled Uber cars.
