Fancy the opportunity to access some of the most highly sought-after whiskies in the world? You can, through the new Johnnie Walker House Singapore suite. However, there’s a catch – access is offered only through personal invitation.
Johnnie Walker House Singapore is the twelfth addition to Diageo’s network of whisky embassies, which also includes Shanghai, Beijing, Seoul, Chengdu, Taipei, Mumbai, Johannesburg, Auckland, Dubai and Amsterdam.
This private suite was conceived for collectors and fine whisky enthusiasts, who will get an exclusive glimpse, as well as access, to Diageo’s prestige range of its rarest scotch whiskies; the rarest expressions of blended and single malt Scotch whiskies from all their distilleries, open and closed, some of which rarely appear in retail, let alone the secondary market.
This includes the popular annual Special Releases, which feature some of the rarest, most highly sought-after single malt distilleries of Scotland, such as Brora and Port Ellen. Also available are rare blends from the John Walker & Sons Collection, including the John Walker & Sons Master Blenders Collection – a tribute to their Master Blenders past and present.
A private client team of specialists will be on hand to advise on whisky as well as provide a more personal service. Serious buyers will feel like a kid in a candy store, as he or she will virtually be granted direct access to Diageo’s blending rooms, distilleries and craftsmen – including the Master Blender himself, Dr Jim Beveridge.
The John Walker & Sons bespoke Signature Blend and unique Casks of Distinction programme offer an opportunity for you to own something exclusive and truly unique. Have Dr Beveridge himself create a bespoke blend for you, or you can pick out an extraordinary cask from a private collection of the best casks, which are set aside only once a year. You can even speak and meet the Master Blender and Distillers who will help you along till you obtain the whiskies of your dreams.
