Dyson’s Pure Cool Purifier Fan has a Cool App

By  |  0 Comments

Fans of Dyson’s bladeless fan do check out their new Pure Cool purifier fan – it is the company’s first connected purifier fan.

Using a unique 360° Glass HEPA filter, the fan can capture 99.95% of ultra-fine allergens, odours and pollutants as small as 0.1µ from the air, and at the same time keeping your room quiet and cool. The filter is easy to replace, and maintenance is a breeze.

The fan is equipped with sensors to detect changes in conditions and it will automatically adjust airflow to maintain the targeted air quality. One advantage it has over conventional purifiers is that the fan will help distribute purified air around the room evenly.

In addition, the new Dyson Link App, developed for iOS and Android, allows you to remotely monitor the air quality in the home from anywhere as long as you have an internet connection – yes, Dyson has gone IoT now. It also helps you keep track of air quality history so you can take additional precautionary measures on your own. Alternatively you can leave it on automatic and have the fan maintain a pre-determined level of air quality.

The app also displays results obtained from air quality data analytics company, BreezoMeter, to help you keep an eye on the live outdoor air quality.

The Dyson Pure Cool Link purifier fan and Dyson Link app will be available from end-April at all major departmental stores and electrical multiples in Singapore for S$1,099. The desktop purifier will be available from end-May for S$699.
