Back for the second year after a successful debut in 2015, race promoter Singapore GP’s Fit For Racing Challenge returns on 25 June.

This year, the challenge will be held at SAFRA Punggol where participants can put themselves to the test and find out if they are as fit as a Formula 1 driver. Participants in the Fit For Racing Challenge will go through a circuit-style workout created by Paul  Haines, an Australian fitness coach who has trained elite athletes including Formula 1 driver Daniel Ricciardo.

The challenge consists of competitive workouts that simulate the training regime of a Formula 1 driver  focusing on core stability, balance, upper and lower body strength, conditioning as well as full body muscular endurance. The top 12 male and female finalists will battle it out in the finals that will also test  their reactive skills to compete for attractive prizes worth over S$9,500. Prizes include tickets to the 2016 FORMULA 1 SINGAPORE AIRLINES SINGAPORE GRAND PRIX, gym passes and SAFRA Punggol vouchers sponsored by supporting partners SAFRA Punggol and EnergyOne as well as vouchers from nutrition partner LiveFit.Asia.

Registration  fee  for  the  event  is  S$12 and net proceeds go to Community Chest. Upon successful completion of all challenges, participants will receive a limited edition Fit For Racing finisher pack with items including T-shirt, shoe bag and other goodies.
