Fujifilm’s latest X30 comes in a classic and sturdy design that encases new advanced functions.

Fujifilm has just released its third generation premium compact camera, the X30, with its newly-developed Real Time viewfinder taking centre stage. With a magnification of 0.65x and a minimal display lag time of 0.005sec., the X30 promises a clear, high-definition Live View and automatically controls for brightness according to ambient light levels.

The X30’s retro film camera design is perfect for photography enthusiasts with a penchant for vintage cameras. Fujifilm combines a retro exterior with advanced DSLR manual functions in the X30, giving users an enhanced traditional film camera experience.

With its F2.0-2.8 28-112mm zoom lens and EXR Processor II image processing engine encased in a classic magnesium body, the X30 delivers high-speed performance and precision without compromising on image quality. The brand also introduces the new and unique ‘Classic Chrome’ film simulation mode on top of its other seven, which delivers muted tones and deep colour reproduction. Users can leverage on the array of modes available to simulate traditional Fujifilm film effects with ease.

Compared to its predecessor, the X30’s NP-95 battery offers a much higher battery capacity which is capable of shooting approximately 470 photos with just one charge. It also comes with wireless functions unlike the X20, which allows users to conveniently transfer and location-tag images via their smartphones and tablets on-the-go.

The X30 comes in two colour options – black or silver, and will be available from mid-to-late September at S$899.
