What’s so special about yet another Happy Hour? Well, at the Four Seasons Hotel, they are handcrafting and infusing them with ‘secret potions’ – an exclusive range of droplets – created by Javier de las Muelas. Javier de las Muelas is the Four Seasons’ creative partner of their Dry Martini bar in Barcelona.

Happy Hour Cocktail Fridays start from 6 to 8 pm at One-Ninety Bar and Terraza by Javier de las Muelas and and guests can enjoy 1-for-1 cocktails of their choice. These include the signature Singapore Sangria given a refreshing local twist with tropical fruits such as dragonfruit and mangosteen; the Four Seasons’ Dry martinis and sparkling cocktails created with Vueve Clicquot.

At the Banyan Tree Samui, located at scenic Lamai Bay in Koh Samui, guests can recharge by doing yoga, indulge at the signature Rainforest Spa or retreat to their private pool villas with views of the Gulf of Thailand. Until the end of December 2015, guests can also getaway and book the Sense of Rejuvenation package that includes:

  • Daily buffet breakfast for two
  • Daily morning sun salutation yoga for two
  • One Rainforest Experience for two
  • One Lymphatic massage for two
  • Daily lunch and dinner
  • In-Villa Bath set-up

The package is for a minimum stay of three consecutive nights and starts from S$1,400 per night, before taxes.

Singapore Airlines launches new mobile app

Aiming to provide passengers and KrisFlyer members with more convenience, Singapore Airlines has launched a new mobile application that works on both Android and Apple smartphones and on the Apple Watch.

Features available on the app include a contextual homepage that displays the most relevant information about upcoming trips. The ‘My Trips’ page provides a summary of necessary information such as flight dates and booking references. Passengers can also get a sneak preview – through customised images – of what to expect during upcoming flights.

Passengers can look forward to widgets that will functions such as provision of an integrated flight schedule, faster and easier bookings of flights as well as a display of their current flight status.

KrisFlyer members will be able to view their membership details such as miles and tier info in an easy-to-read design. Apple Watch users can also look forward to features such as ‘Glance View’ that incorporates trip reminders and up-to-date information such as when counters are ready for check-in.
