Great Eastern Launches SG60 Family Initiative with SGD 400 Gift Credits to Support Families’ Financial Planning
Great Eastern has announced a generous initiative to mark Singapore’s 60th birthday, providing families with a financial boost through its SG60 Family initiative.
This programme offers SGD 400 in complimentary gift credits per child, including babies born in 2025, alongside free family insurance coverage for all families throughout the year.
This marks the first of many initiatives in a year-long series by the homegrown insurer to celebrate its integral role in Singapore’s nation-building journey.
The SG60 Family initiative is designed to assist families in enhancing their financial security by addressing savings and protection needs. The gift credits can be used to offset 10 percent of premiums for a wide range of protection, savings, and lifestyle plans, as well as home, motor, and travel insurance offered by Great Eastern.
Fostering Financial Security Across Generations
The initiative is open to families with children aged 16 and below in 2025, with no cap on the total amount of gift credits claimable. It has been developed in partnership with the Ministry of Social and Family Development’s Large Families Scheme to support larger households.
Through our SG60 Family initiative, we want families to prioritise financial planning by taking action to build multiple nest eggs that they can count on at different life stages to fulfil their goals and aspirations. This includes saving for children’s education, upgrading to bigger homes, and making provisions for future generations. Adequate savings also mean options for celebrating life’s milestones, such as dream family vacations.
