To celebrate 10 years of empowering women to stay fit through running, participants of Asia’s largest all-women race can look forward to a host of new activities and events.

Bigger, better and more colourful, this year’s Great Eastern Women’s Run (GEWR) is targeting to attract 17,000 participants. The race will flag off at The Float@Marina Bay on Sunday, 1 November 2015 and will feature race categories of five kilometres, 10 kilometres as well as the half marathon (21.1 kilometres). To celebrate Singapore’s Golden Jubilee, the race route will cover the nation’s iconic landmarks, some of them being the Esplanade, Gardens by the Bay, F1 Pit Building, Marina Bay Sands, Singapore Flyer, Singapore Sports Hub and Merlion Park.

Upon completion of the race, participants can look forward to receiving the limited edition Great Eastern Women’s Run adidas memento tee. There will also be an array of activities at the race village for participants to enjoy with their families and friends after the race.

Also, in collaboration with the Singapore Sports Hub, a series of pre race fringe activities will be organised for participants to better prepare themselves for race day. Some of these activities include the Sports Hub Stepper, Piloxing sessions and running clinics.

Early bird registration will end on 31 July 2015 and fees are going from S$18 for the Princess Dash and S$27 onwards for adults. Normal registration will be open from 1 August to 30 September 2015 and fees are going from S$22 for the Princess Dash and S$43 onwards for adults.
