Hotel Jen Orchardgateway Hosts Organic-Friendly Farmers’ Market This Saturday

Taking place this 27 August at Makan@Jen Terrace, drop by the Organic-Friendly Farmers’ Market to find the latest in organic produce and products.

Organised in partnership with In Touch Concepts, Hotel Jen Orchardgateway Singapore invites all members of the public to drop by their Organic-Friendly Farmers’ Market this Saturday, 27 August 2016 from 9am to 3pm.

Featuring 20 local farmers and vendors at the market, expect to find all things organic-friendly including fresh pesto made from locally-grown vegetables and herbs by Comcorp, as well as fresh seafood by Ah Hua Kelong and Sea Farmers at Ubin.

Eden’s Kitchen

On top of the wide variety of food products on sale, Eden’s Kitchen will also be present at the market to educate visitors on nutrition and how to stock their home up with foods that sustain, heal and nourish. Alternatively, those interested to learn more about local bee conservationists may do so with Pollen Nation, who will be there to educate members of the public about the existence and importance of the urban bee.

Last but not least, permaculture consultant and designer, Debbie Han from Co-create Nature, will also be conducting a three-hour workshop, Eat Your Garden, that will help participants learn how to grow their own produce at home. The workshop will take place from 2pm to 5pm at Level 19, ZEN Garden, Hotel Gen Orchardgateway. Entry is priced at SGD 68 per person and will include a growing kit, notes, and light refreshments.
