Lexus Launches The New GS
Lexus highlighted their brand range during the Singapore Motorshow 2016 with the official unveiling of the high-revving 5.0-litre Lexus GS F Sedan.
The GS F is powered by a naturally-aspirated 5.0-litre V8 that produces 470 bhp and peak torque of 530 Nm. The power plant is mated to an 8-speed Sport Direct Transmission. Other features include a host of proprietary Lexus ‘F’ exclusive advancements such as the Torque Vectoring Differential (TVD) for high-speed handling. The car also comes standard with a Brembo high performance brake system for a higher level of braking efficiency.
Also introduced at the Lexus Showcase, was the all-new GS Turbo, molded with a 2.0-litre twin-scroll turbocharged engine with Dual VVT-iW, delivering power to the rear wheels through the 8-speed Sport Direct-Shift automatic Electronically Controlled Transmission with intelligence (RWD) allowing the driver to manually select gears through paddle shifters.
The Lexus GS will be launched in Singapore in the second quarter of 2016.
