In the lead up to the release of MICHELIN guide Singapore 2016 in the second half of the year, Michelin has unveiled a slate of new initiatives. This includes the launch of its English-language gourmet lifestyle web portal, guide.michelin.sg, which offers daily articles on restaurant trends, personality interviews and the MICHELIN guide-related news to make Michelin dining more accessible to all.

Developed and operated by global wine authority Robert Parker Wine Advocate, the MICHELIN guide Singapore’s web portal allows food lovers to gain an insider’s perspective on the restaurant industry through its gourmet lifestyle content.

Categorised by “News”, “Features”, “People”, “Dining In” and “Dining Out”, dedicated gourmands may bookmark “News” to get the latest restaurant news and first-hand updates on global MICHELIN guides announcements. “Dining In” offers aspiring young chefs and talented home cooks personally shared recipes, cooking tips and opinion pieces from Michelin-starred chefs; while “People” will feature exclusive interviews with the MICHELIN guide’s representatives, renowned chefs, and influential food experts in Singapore and beyond.

Readers may send in questions to Michelin chefs and food personalities via the portal, as well as submit original creations that will be showcased in the crowd-sourced recipe section. MICHELIN guide aficionados may also log onto the portal to place advance orders for the MICHELIN guide Singapore 2016 as well as book seats for any upcoming Matter of Taste food and wine events by MICHELIN guide Singapore and Robert Parker.

Besides consolidating a list of high-quality restaurants in Singapore, the guide also highlights restaurants that offer good food at moderate prices. The coverage spans from luxury hotels to traditional inns, gourmet restaurants to small bistros, making it a useful guide for all epicureans and foodies.

The MICHELIN guide Singapore 2016 is now available for pre-order at SGD 39.95, inclusive of GST and free delivery within Singapore. For more information, visit their website.
