The annual event organised by the Singapore Heart Foundation in commemoration of National Heart Week/World Heart Day goes virtual for 2021

The Singapore Heart Foundation (SHF) has been at the forefront in the battle against heart disease.

In a bid to promote healthier lifestyles, the virtual event aims to educate and empower Singaporeans to use ❤️(heart) and connect with one another as we care for our own and our families’ heart health.

The 2021 event will shine the spotlight on hidden sodium content in our everyday meals that can lead to hypertension.

Taking place from 18 September to 3 October 2021, the event will feature healthcare experts sharing about topics such as hypertension and salt intake, gestational hypertension and other cardiovascular disease.

The event will also launch the “Down with Hypertension Programme” (19 September) that seeks to educate the public on blood pressure monitoring as well as Hugopoly (18 September), an interactive online board game featuring SHF’s lovable mascot Hugo, where participants can stand to win attractive prizes!

More information can be found at the website from 13 September, 2021 or SHF’s Facebook page.
