No Blue Monday with the New Malt Order by Auchentoshan

Auchentoshan to take over newly-opened Monti from 21 – 24 December with a pop-up Whisky installation

Auchentoshan is partnering with Monti and Chef Luigi Calcagno to present customers with a whisky encounter that helps them explore the flavours of the whisky alongside canapes and a panoramic view of Marina Bay.

The New Malt Order will amplify Auchentoshan’s signature citrus, nuttiness, sweetness and spiciness and reacquaint whisky enthusiasts to the Bourbon, Oloroso Sherry and Pedro Ximenez casks that the whisky is matured in. Customers will have a selection of various condiments, ingredients and choices of garnish that they can add to their whisky drink.

Sally Lim, Marketing Manager for Beam Suntory, Southeast Asia: “Appreciation for whisky in Singapore has increased and matured in recent years, and more than ever before, consumers are seeking out new ways to enjoy their dram. The New Malt Order dares both the novice and the seasoned whisky drinker to be different, allowing them to create a bespoke drink that they like which still amplifies the key flavours of Auchentoshan and delivers the essence of our whisky to the drinker.”

Some whisky concoctions to look out for:

What the Kueh – This unconventional cocktail is concocted with coconut water, Pandan Reduction, Gula Melaka, and the Auchentoshan Three Wood.

Ye Olde Soda Sour – The Auchentoshan 12 year old is mixed with three types of citrus and a dash of sugar, topped with a scoop of vanilla ice cream.
