Nostalgic afternoon tea at Axis Bar and Lounge
Available all through August, the Axis Bar and Lounge tea begins with a light and refreshing pandan ice jelly with coconut emulsion. Indulge in savoury favourites such as the nasi lemak cornet with crispy anchovies and sambal jam or an exquisite ayam satay encased in a tart shell and drizzled with tantalising peanut gravy.
For those with a sweet tooth, revel in a dainty three-tiered stand of desserts featuring bandung rosella bavarious, chocolate almond kueh pie tee and pineapple coconut sable layered with a succulent coconut water jelly. Pair it with Mandarin Oriental, Singapore’s signature tea, a special green tea blend developed in conjunction with TWG, finished with notes of Asian spices.
