Festive Takeaways

What’s Christmas without some of the hotel’s award-winning roasted turkey? Stuffed with homemade bread and chestnut stuffing, fresh herbs and drizzled with cranberry sauce and natural turkey jus, the turkey is marinated for 18 hours before roasting and is a perfect treat for the whole family. The roasted turkey is going at S$168 for five kilograms and S$238 for 10 kilograms.

Complete your festive meal with some of the hotel’s festive desserts such as its cherry yule log cake made of maniari chocolate and cardamom-infused dark cherries. The cake boasts tangy notes of citrus and cedar, and is perfected with a special ganache technique which keeps the chocolate at the right temperature for a silky smooth texture. The cake is going at S$72 for 0.8 kilograms.

Other festive treats to look out for include the fruit cake with marzipan (S$105 for 1.5 kilograms) and the hotel’s best-selling Christmas hazelnut royaltine cake (S$80 for one kilogram).

Festive Meals

One-Ninety Bar and Terraza by Javier de las Muelas

Indulge in a variety of sweets, pastries, freshly-baked scones and tea cakes at One-Ninety Bar and Terraza by Javier de las Muelas’ Christmas Afternoon Tea. Guests can expect to find an infusion of festive treats like sticky toffee cupcakes, pistachio cream dacquoise and holiday cookies, together with smoked organic salmon, turkey and roast beef finger sandwiches. The Christmas Afternoon Tea is available all December and prices are starting at S$42.

One-Ninety Wood-fired Steaks and Seafood

Christmas Eve – Indulge in a splendid five-course dinner starting with chilled Maine lobster medallion and osetra caviar; foie gras parfait with rye bread and huckleberry; followed by the kubocha squash anglotti with chanterelle mushroom, gingerbread crumbles and beurre noisette. The Christmas entrée includes slow-roasted organic turkey with winter black truffle, bread and chestnut stuffing; poached atlantic turbot, ebi shrimps and asari clams emulsion; or triple-seared Tajima wagyu sirloin steak. Dessert features spiced jivara chocolate sphere with black current sorbet, accompanied with festive mignardises. The five-course dinner is going at S$198.

On Christmas day itself, pamper you and your loved ones with a hearty wood-fired brunch at One-Ninety which includes a free-flow of Veuve Clicquot NV Champagne and a full buffet spread of grilled steaks and seafood. With the availability of festive carvings, desserts, sushi and sashimi, cold cuts, and a crudo and caviar bar, the buffet caters to all palates of all ages. The Full Champagne buffet is going at S$268 for adults.

One-Ninety also has much to offer you and your loved ones for an all-encompassing Christmas dinner. Enjoy wood-fired cuisine and a buffet spread of appetizers and desserts, with a selection of one entrée from options including roasted turkey, wild mooloolaba ocean king prawns, Ranger Valley wagyu, ahi tuna steak, and red label organic salmon “tranche”. End your festive night with a full buffet spread of desserts including favourites such as the hazelnut royaltine sundae. The semi-buffet is priced at S$98.

Jiang-Nan Chun

Be pampered with exclusive chef-crafted dishes that encapsulate the tales behind the Four Great Beauties of China.

Christmas Eve – Start your dinner off with the Four Beauties Set Menu, or enjoy à la carte dishes from Executive Chef Alan Chan and his team, including Jiang-Nan Chun favourites such as abalone or birds nest double-boiled soups, wok-fried beef tenderloin, handmade fish noodles, delectable dim sums and more. The five-course set meal is going at S$148.

On Christmas day itself, celebrate with an oriental brunch crafted specially by Executive Chef Alan Chan and his team. As part of the festive celebration, there will be a complimentary serving of Jiang-Nan Chun delicacies which includes a bowl of the restaurant’s signature soup and one serving of king prawn in Szechuan sauce and crispy rice served to each guest. À la carte brunch is priced at S$98, S$154 if you include a free-flow of Bortolomiol Prosecco, and S$206 if you include a free-flow of Veuve Clicquot Yellow Label Brut.

Vanilla Secrets Festive Spa Treatment

Pamper yourself with Vanilla Secrets’ scrub and massage treatment performed by the spa’s team of skilled therapists. The treatment is meant to refresh the body with a combination of firm and relaxing massage strokes to help alleviate fatigue and tension and also nourishes the skin with a cream-based vanilla and cinnamon gentle scrub.
