From 25 January 2016, usher in the Lunar New Year with Pan Pacific Singapore’s selection of auspicious culinary creations.

Pan Pacific Singapore ushers in the Year of the Monkey with a range of festive food offerings. Indulge in traditional Cantonese delicacies at Hai Tien Lo (海天楼); sumptuous Chinese New Year buffet spread at Edge; Yu Sheng with a Japanese twist at Keyaki, or take home auspicious Chinese New Year goodies from Pacific Marketplace.

To commemorate the significant Chinese festival, Hai Tien Lo’s Master Chef Lai Tong Ping has crafted a selection of culinary delights, as well as eight prix fixe menus (from SGD 118.80), including one vegetarian set menu (SGD 128 per person).

Hai Tien Lo Success Set Menu

Perfect for family reunions, the set menus and culinary delights are available from 25 January to 22 February 2016. Indulge in a resplendent variety of premium delicacies such as the Pan-fried Foie Gras with sliced Barbecued Beijing and Smoked Duck, the nutritious “Buddha Jumps Over the Wall” with Matsutake Mushroom, the succulent Braised Whole Abalone with Sea Cucumber and Dried Oysters, signature Traditional Stewed Chicken with Eight Treasures and Lotus Seeds, and festive favourite Barbecued Crispy Whole Suckling Pig.

Prosperity Yu Sheng with Surf Clams and Norwegian Salmon

Besides, their set menus, Hai Tien Lo also offers seven different Yu Sheng platters this year. Toss to a year of abundance with their signature Prosperity Yu Sheng with Surf Clams and Norwegian Salmon (SGD 48, serves four; or SGD 88, serves eight) or with the Chef-recommended Wealth Happiness Yu Sheng (SGD 168, serves four; or SGD 228, serves eight) featuring a spread of Boston Lobster, Hokkaido Scallops, Surf Clams, Norwegian Salmon, Mushrooms, and Gold and Silver Flakes. Hai Tien Lo’s Yu Sheng platters are priced from SGD 38 to SGD 228, and are available in both small and large sizes for dine-in and takeaways.

This year, Hai Tien Lo introduces a new Poon Choy – Classic Auspicious Treasure Pot (SGD 238, serves six; or SGD 398, serves 10), featuring premium ingredients such as Eight Treasures Whole Chicken, Whole Abalone, Sea Cucumber and more.

If buffet spreads are your thing, there’s no better time to indulge in one this Spring Festival. From 7 to 22 February 2016, guests may celebrate over a hearty feast at Edge restaurant, with highlights including fresh Seafood on Ice (Alaskan and Chilean King Crabs, Hokkaido Scallops, freshly shucked Oysters), Prosperity Yu Sheng, Nonya Whole Roasted Suckling Pig, Five Spices Smoked Chicken, Braised Pork Knuckle, Teochew Simmered Duck with Gingko Nuts and Sweet Peas, and Waxed Meat Glutinous Rice Wrapped in Lotus Leaf.

For a unique twist on the classics, be sure to try the exclusive 99-cm Pizza with Bak Kwa and Pineapple, Tempura Nian Gao with Shredded Nori, and freshly grilled Chicken Rice Sausage.

Conclude the joyous feast on a sweet note with traditional desserts such as Eight Treasures Rice, Teochew Yam Paste with Gingko Nuts, signature Durian Pengat, on top of other traditional Chinese New Year goodies available.

Keyaki

This Lunar New Year, Keyaki presents its own take on Yu Sheng, adding a twist to the tradition of Lo Hei with two exquisite Yu Sheng presentations.

The Wafu Yu Sheng (SGD 128, serves three to four guests), features seasonal vegetables, Maguro, Sake, Tobiko Tuna, Salmon and Yellowtail Sashimi. To add an extra twist to this festive favourite, the Yu Sheng is dusted with gold and silver flakes for bountiful blessings of health and wealth for the New Year.

The indulgent Premium Yu Sheng (SGD 308, serves eight to 10 guests) includes the additional rich flavours of sea urchin and lobster. Both Yu Sheng selections are topped with Ponzu sauce, and are available exclusively for dine-in at Keyaki from 25 January to 22 February 2016.
