Philips Launches The S9000 Series
Philips’ new S9000 shaver series promises to deliver clean, close shaves with minimal irritation.
For all you male readers, facial grooming is indeed an essential part of your daily routine, but daily shaving can leave your skin feeling raw, irritated and itchy. Investing in a good shaver is therefore imperative to achieving the perfect shave – anytime, anywhere, wet or dry.
Philips’ latest shaver series, the S9000 promises to leave your skin feeling smooth, refreshed and irritation-free with its new cutting-edge technology and functions. Taking centre-stage is its unique ContourDetect technology which allows shaving heads to flex and expand in eight different directions, guiding the hairs for a more precise shave in one single pass. Compared to Philips’ older Senso Touch range, the S9000 also promises to capture stubborn long and flat-lying hairs more effectively with its V-Track precision blades. With these new features, users are spared from irritation on the skin as there is no need to go over the same area repeatedly.
All Philips shavers make use of the rotary shaving system and the new S9000 series is no exception to this. The shavers’ flexible rotating heads can adjust accordingly to your facial contours and are able to evenly spread the pressure out across the skin to ensure minimal irritation.
The S9000 series comes in four models – the S9711/31, S9511/41, S9111/26 and the S9111/12. Besides having a dual blade system that lifts hairs comfortably below skin level, the top-of-the-line model, Philips Shaver S9711 also comes with personal comfort options for users to select how they prefer their shave to be.
Also unique to the Philips Shaver S9711 is its SmartClean accessory which uses a cartridge-based system to clean, charge, lubricate and dry the shaver when activated. This feature is convenient for those who have little time to clean your shaver and allows for it to stay in optimum condition, just like the first time.
The Philips Shaver S9000 series will be available from this September onwards at department stores, leading electrical stores and all authorised dealers. Prices range from S$389 to S$699.
