Pioneer has enhanced the in-car experience with exciting new features in their range of connected car entertainment products.

Eight new multimedia receivers are available: Under the double-DIN category are the AVH-X5850BT and AVH-X4850DVD boasting a 7-inch display, while the AVH-X2850BT, AVH-X1850DVD, AVH-285BT and AVH-185DVD come with a 6.2-inch screen. Space-efficient designs are included with the Single-DIN AVH-X7850BT and AVH-X6850BT that comes with retractable slide-out 7-inch screens. All these models are compatible with the latest GEX-2850DVB2 Dual Diversity DVB-T2 TV receiver.

The key upgrades most of the 2016 models feature the FLAC lossless audio support which allows a higher-quality music playback and also packs a significantly higher resolution for enhanced clarity as compared to MP3 and CDs. FLAC is also 50% to 60% smaller than uncompressed WAV files, allowing more songs to be fitted into the same USB storage devices and smartphones. Compatible smartphone users can also access an abundance of songs with Spotify on Pioneer’s new multimedia receivers at their convenience.

Passengers also can enjoy TV shows on the latest GEX-2850DVB2 receiver powered by a dual-diversity chipset that is designed for stable reception over long distances and high speed driving. The GEX-2850DVB2 Dual Diversity DVB-T2 TV Receiver can also directly record TV programmes to a USB storage device, and is controllable using the receiver’s touchscreen for truly stress-free and smooth operations.

The new range of 2016 Pioneer multimedia receivers will be available at Pioneer authorised dealers from November 2015.
