Registration for Run For Hope 2024 is officially open, inviting runners, volunteers, and supporters from the community to come together and make a meaningful impact in the fight against cancer.
This annual event, now in its 31st edition, symbolises unity, hope, and perseverance.
Continuing a Legacy of 30 Years
For over three decades, Run For Hope has been a cornerstone event, uniting thousands of participants in a shared mission: supporting those battling cancer. Spearheaded by Four Seasons Hotel Singapore since 1993, this event has become a mainstay in Singapore’s running calendar.
It has been an incredible privilege to champion this meaningful cause for the past three decades. Advancements in cancer research have significantly increased survival rates, and we aspire to spark even greater support for life-saving research at NCCS, ultimately bringing renewed hope to those living with cancer.

Its purpose? To raise awareness and garner support for critical cancer research conducted by dedicated experts at the National Cancer Centre Singapore (NCCS).
The Challenge: Cancer in Singapore
According to the Singapore Cancer Registry’s 2021 Annual Report, cancer was the top cause of death in Singapore from 2017 to 2021, accounting for a staggering 28.2 percent of all deaths.
However, there’s a silver lining: mortality rates have declined due to improvements in survival rates. Early detection through screening and advancements in treatments play a pivotal role in this positive trend.
Every Step Fuels Hope
Last year, Run For Hope achieved a significant milestone, raising an impressive SGD$130,000 from runners, supporters, and sponsors. These funds drive pioneering research that aims to change how cancer is diagnosed and treated. Run For Hope 2024 continues this positive trajectory, raising community awareness and support for those affected by cancer in Singapore.
