Self-sketches For Portraits Of The People

By  |  0 Comments

This March, bond with your family over self-sketches at National Gallery Singapore’s Portraits of the People events.

To commemorate Singapore’s Golden Jubilee, National Gallery Singapore introduces a community engagement programme, Portraits of the People for all to participate in this March. Spend some quality family time when you contribute your self-portraits at the various Portraits of the People events and on the new website www.portraitsofthepeople.sg.

These unique self-sketches will eventually be curated and etched onto the Art Connector, a 290-metre permanent commemorative walkway which will span from City Hall MRT to the Gallery’s entrance on Coleman Street.

You’ll be joining Team Singapore’s Joseph Schooling, celebrity couple DJ Rosalyn Lee and Justin Vanderstraaten as well as TV host Kelly Latimer, who are among the thousands of other Singaporeans who have already contributed their self-portraits.

Entertain the whole family through this creative and meaningful activity this March! Portraits of the People will travel to various locations island-wide from now till the middle of the year.

Please refer to www.facebook.com/nationalgallerysg for the most updated list of venues and time for the various Portraits of the People events.
