Shell’s Latest Generation Of Performance Fuel
Shell stations island-wide will replace Shell V-Power with the new Shell V-Power Nitro+ from 18 September at the same price.
Shell V-Power Nitro+ is Shell’s latest generation of premium performance fuel which contains 25% more friction reducer in its Friction Modifier Technology when compared with Shell V-Power. Developed and tested with Ferrari, its new and improved formulation is designed to act instantly to reduce friction in critical engine areas, thereby helping the engine to deliver more power to the wheels. The unique double action formula in Shell V-Power Nitro+ is also designed to actively clean and protect vital engine parts to restore the car’s performance.
Shell developed its Friction Modifier Technology in close collaboration with Ferrari. This longstanding technical partnership of more than 60 years with Ferrari has enabled Shell to test new fuels in extreme conditions and transfer the technology from the race track to the road. Shell V-Power race fuel used by the Scuderia Ferrari Racing Team in the 2015 FIA Formula One World Championship contains at least 99% of the same type of compounds found in Shell V-Power Nitro+ road fuel.
