The fifth Shilla Stay opens in Ulsan

Ulsan is a city located in the south-east of Korea and neighbours Busan. The city of over 1.1 million people is recognised as the industrial powerhouse of South Korea and many of Hyundai business groups are sited there including both the world’s largest automobile assembly plant and the world’s largest shipyard as well as the world’s second largest oil refinery. The city is also home to several world-class heritage sites that capture the rich history and culture of Korea such as Oegosan Onggi village, Ulsan Petroglyph Museum and Seosaengpo Fortress.

The Shilla Stay Ulsan has 22 floors and 335 guestrooms, with three room types to choose from – Standard Room, Deluxe Room and Grand Room. All guestrooms feature high-quality goose-down bedding and premium Aveda bathroom amenities.

To meet the needs of business travellers, Shilla Stay Ulsan offers a variety of modern facilities including meeting rooms which can be customized for conferences, private functions and business events. The second-floor ‘Cafe’ offers all-day dining and can accommodate up to 108 diners.

The hotel is located in south Ulsan, a 15 minutes drive from the Ulsan Airport and within close proximity to the Ulsan City Government offices, Sports Complex, as well as large department stores. Tourist hotspots nearby include the Ulsan Museum, Seonam Lake Park, and the Whale Life Experience Centre.

Until 31 August and in celebration of the hotel’s official launch, Shilla Stay Ulsan guests will receive a Shilla Stay Teddy Bear and enjoy complimentary breakfast for two, free Wi-Fi and use of the fitness center.
