Singapore Coffee Festival To Debut This June
Presented by DBS and hosted by The Straits Times, the Singapore Coffee Festival (SCF) 2016 will be an exciting festival for all coffee aficionados and avid café hoppers.
Coffee lovers will be thrilled to know that Singapore’s first coffee centric festival will be open to the public from 10 to 12 June 2016.
Located at the F1 Pit building, SCF 2016 will be an interactive multi-sensory one-stop platform for all things coffee-related. Showcasing local craftsmanship in specialty coffee as well as Singapore’s unique and rich Kopi heritage, the festival will also offer a wide range of brewed drinks, beans, gadgets and machines available for purchase.
Visitors can expect over 100 exhibitors including specialty coffee purveyors such as Common Man Coffee Roasters, Chye Seng Huat Hardware who will be offering their popular favourites; as well as Knockhouse Supply Co. and ToTT store who will be displaying their wares. For lovers of Singapore’s Hainanese coffee traditions, Killiney Kopitiam will also be there to offer their signature kaya, toasted bread, rich kopi and tea.
Those interested to learn more about what goes into a good cup of coffee may also sign up for Lab Sessions run by Comman Man Coffee Roasters, the Straits Times, and Bettr Barista. The workshops will cover everything from Latte Art to Fundamental Barista Skills as well as panel discussions with champion baristas and forums with prominent journalists from The Straits Times.
Be sure to catch the live music stages showcasing local acts, as well as a beauty pop-up area by Shiseido (the Parlour) where festival visitors may sample Shiseido products and munch on Japanese confectioneries.
Tickets are currently on sale at SISTIC. Advance General Entry One-Day passes are available from SGD 13. Limited DBS Exclusive One-Day passes are available at SGD 11, while stocks last.
