Exhibits from all over the world congregate this 22 January at the first-ever Singapore Contemporary Art Show. Held at Hall 401 of Suntec Singapore Convention & Exhibition Centre, the show flaunts a selection of over 3,000 specially curated pieces including Australian artist, Emma Hack’s portrait of Singapore-born Adelaide City Lady Mayoress Genevieve Theseira-Haese.

After gracing the exhibitions, partake in some complimentary family-friendly activities such as Live Painting Demonstrations, where four artists will perform their work live and open the floor to any questions. Other activities available include Art Tours and a Kids Art Studio for the younger ones to explore their creative side.

With the event spanning three days from 22 January to 24 January, take some time to go down this weekend and personally witness the inaugural exhibition of Singapore Contemporary. Even better, insert this into your weekend itinerary as a family-bonding activity where you and your loved ones can take a breather from the hustle and bustle of city life to appreciate the finer things in life.

The Singapore Contemporary’s opening hours are as follows:

Friday, 22 January: 12 noon – 9pm

Saturday, 23 January: 11am – 7pm

Sunday, 24 January: 11am – 6pm
