Singapore Prevention & Cardiac Rehabilitation Symposium 2017 by the Singapore Heart Foundation

Organised by the Singapore Heart Foundation, SPCRS 2017 brings together healthcare professionals and individuals in the multidisciplinary cardiac rehabilitation team under one roof. They will share insights on the latest information and strategies centered on this year’s theme, “Advances in Cardiac Rehabilitation for Improved Health: Special Focus on E-Health”.

The symposium aims to facilitate an exchange of knowledge and ideas across multidisciplinary teams through the pre-symposium workshops and lively discussions during the main symposium.

Keynote speaker, Professor Hugo Saner, Director of Cardiovascular Prevention and Rehabilitation, Swiss Cardiovascular Centre, and internationally renowned experts Professor David Thompson, Professor Nizal Sarrafzadegan and Professor John Buckley, will share useful tips on counselling, exercise testing as well as healthy cooking.

  • Importance of Psychosocial Management in cardiac rehabilitation
  • Barriers to cardiac rehabilitation and how to overcome them
