Singapore’s First AI Wellness Companion Portal Launches to Meet Growing Demand for On-Demand Health Advice

By  |  0 Comments

Singapore has witnessed the launch of its first AI wellness (AI-powered) companion portal, Health Hub.

A 2023 study found that approximately 65 percent of health-related activities at home occur well outside of traditional business hours.

This innovative platform is designed to address the increasing need for accessible health advice, especially as more health-related activities are now taking place at home and outside traditional business hours.

Health Hub leverages advanced machine learning and natural language processing to provide users with personalised diet plans, workout routines, and real-time mental health counseling.

The platform’s information logic systems are meticulously reviewed by registered nutritionists and health experts to ensure accuracy and reliability.

While health and fitness have traditionally relied more heavily on face-to-face coaching and community support, we believe the integration of AI can open up new possibilities for home training and wellness. Our goal is not to replace human coaches but to supplement them — as an intelligent companion that provides customized wellness advice anytime, anywhere, an especially valuable helping hand when in-person resources are not immediately available.

Terrence Ho, Project Manager of Health Hub

A digital initiative by holistic wellness advocates Nano Singapore, Health Hub is equipped with natural language capabilities, allowing it to respond to general health queries in a conversational manner. This includes comprehensive mental health counseling chats designed to guide users through stress management techniques such as progressive muscle relaxation, guided meditation, deep breathing, and cognitive-behavioral adjustment advice.

In addition to personalised plans, Health Hub offers an extensive library of over 800 free video resources. These videos cover a wide range of physical and mental wellness topics, including follow-along workouts and practical exercises that can be easily incorporated into daily routines.

Health Hub is also working to expand its digital health network by curating content from top partner sites. The portal is free to use and can be accessed at www.healthhub.nanosingaporeshop.com.
