SITEX 2015

By  |  0 Comments

Check out SITEX this weekend at the Singapore Expo, Halls 5 and 6. If you’re shopping for the holiday season, why not check out the offers on show.

Over 300 brands will be on show, running the whole gamut from laptops to health and fitness and more. However, we have to point out: it’s not the best place to hunt for TVs this weekend, but it is a good time to pick up computers as well as to sign up for new broadband plans.

In addition, female shoppers are entitled to a lucky dip with every S$100 spent (in a single receipt) in the Ladies-Go-Tech Lucky Draw, while S$50 spent (in a single receipt) allows you to take part in the All I Want for X’mas lucky draw with a grand prize of a Can Am Spyder up for grabs.

There’s a slight twist to the theme this time round, with thematic zones – Adventure IT, Gaming Ground and Smart Homes – to set the context for visitors.

Adventure IT

Scale an eight-meter wall – or watch others do it. Participants will be wearing GoPro action cameras and Garmin smart watches, while flying drones will also capture the action – this is the new face of adventure; a rather techie one. The fastest climbers will also win prizes. There will also be a dive tank to demonstrate the use of underwater photographic equipment.

Gaming Ground

Watch PC gamers will pit their skills against each other at the Gaming Ground, while console fans can try out holiday season game releases like Halo 5 and Forza 6.

Also, take part in the Pick your Holiday Quest to qualify for a sure-win Xbox Lucky Sock draw, and a grand draw. Prizes range from Xbox Limited edition bundles, Xbox Live codes, holiday game titles, and a grand draw prize: an Xbox One Bundle.

Smart Home/Living

Check out wireless integration and home automation at this zone, where there will be a host of gizmos you don’t typically see in malls and the like, like home security devices and hydroponic indoor gardens.

StartUp Alley

Check out local startup companies and their innovative products ranging from home energy monitoring to mobile applications.
