Smart can be Devilishly Simple

It may surprise you that what makes the Samsung Activ Dualwash unique is a devilishly simple implement – an attachment to facilitate the simplest of washing methods: the hand wash.

What’s interesting is that it took this long before someone came up with a top-loading washing machine with a washing basin built-in. As we all know, sometimes there’s just no substitute for pre-washing or hand-scrubbing for tough stains. Samsung’s thoughtful addition, which sits at the top of the washing machine, is designed so that you can easily do a quick pre-wash before you start the machine cycle; gone are the days where you sit down on an awkwardly low stool, straining your back to scrub your clothes in a basin.

The Dualwash basin is perfectly unobtrusive and attaches to the main tempered glass door if you have no need to do any pre-washing or hand washing. You don’t have to worry about dropping it on your fingers by accident too; there’s safety mechanism to slow the tray’s descent. Combined with the grooved tray, button-operated water jet, and drainage, hand washing is really made straightforward.

The new series of Samsung Activ Dualwash Washing Machine is no one-trick pony, and also features many thoughtful features that make laundry less of a chore, thanks to a genuinely thoughtful combination of features that appeals to us time-strapped individuals.

Nifty ideas, such as the Magic Dispenser in the detergent tray creates a vortex to better dissolve the detergent, so that you’ll do less work in cleaning up the residue. Samsung’s ‘Wobble’ pulsator technology increases washing power by generating a dynamic, multi-directional washing flow that also helps to reduce tangle; while an easy-to-wash, Magic Filter does the business of picking up the lint. The Activ Dualwash also features a more efficient digital inverter motor that is more silent as well, and cleaning it is easy thanks an eco tub clean.

You can check out the Activ Dualwash series at all major consumer electronics stores. Prices range from S$999 to S$1,399.
