Celebrate Christmas and the New Year with Taipei Marriott Hotel’s festive line-up of activities
Open since July, the Taipei Marriott Hotel offers 320 guest rooms and suites, five distinct restaurants and a world-class spa. The hotel has a picturesque location along the bank of the Keelung River and is enveloped by acres of lush, green landscaping and gardens, creating a quiet, verdant retreat in the middle of the city.
The hotel is located in the Dazhi District, just 10 minutes from Songshan International Airport, guests can explore nearby attractions like the beautiful Mt. Jiannan Trail, the National Palace Museum and the Miramar Shopping Center.
During December, Taipei Marriott Hotel will be offering a line-up of festive activities to celebrate the holidays, including a Festivi-Tea, the Christmas Dinner and the New Year Eve’s Dinner.
Marriott Festivi-Tea: Enjoy an elegant and memorable Afternoon Tea for two in the Lobby Lounge. The Chef offers a mouthwatering selection of sweet and savory delicacies and a selection of teas and coffee. (Offered daily from 1500 – 1800 at NTD 1380 + 10%; optional Brut Premiere Cuvee offered for NTD 600 each.)
Christmas Dinner: This will be a sumptuous three-course meal served in the beautiful Garden Kitchen. Starters include oysters with caviar, pan-fried scallops, grilled spicy Spanish sausage along with wild berry salad and pumpkin soup. Guests can choose from main courses such as grilled prime ribeye steak, fried sea bass with truffle pasta, or the traditional oven-roasted turkey or duck breast. Sweet desserts include ginger chocolate lava cake and authentic French Petit Fours. (Offered from 24 to 26 December at NTD 2,680 + 10%.)
New Year’s Eve Dinner: Ring in 2016 at the Taipei Marriott with friends or family! The delicious three-course meal in the beautiful Garden Kitchen starts with a selection of appetizers, including prawns, caviar, duck pate and truffle chestnut soup. Main dishes include American Prime filet mignon, fresh Harbor fish with prawns and poultry wings. Irresistible desserts include strawberry mousse cake with handmade basil strawberry ice cream and a selection of Petit Fours. (Offered only on 31 December at NTD 2,680 + 10%.)
