This February’s Highlights At The Gardens
This February, Gardens by the Bay offers a series of exciting programmes and activities to usher in the Lunar New Year as well as to celebrate Valentine’s Day.
Wondering how to make your Lunar New Year or Valentine’s Day celebrations a more unique one? Join Gardens by the Bay this February as it ushers in the Lunar New Year with its “Asian Tales” floral display and Spring Surprise programmes which include craft booths and God of Fortune mascot appearances. As February is also the month of love, Gardens by the Bay celebrates Valentine’s Day with a romantic outdoor movie screening of “Valentine’s Day”, fireworks, a floral arrangement workshop, as well as performances by popular local artistes like Dimsum Dollies and Vocaluptuous.
Here’s a list of Lunar New Year programmes to catch at the Gardens:
“Asian Tales” Floral Display
Drawing inspiration from the scenic, mountainous landscape depicted in Chinese paintings, the brand new “Asian Tales” floral showcase invites visitors to enter the magical world of folklore, legends, fairy tales and nursery rhymes. Spot goats sculpted with wood and flowers perching on the ridge and grazing in the field and surrounded by Dahlia blooms specially cultivated to celebrate the Year of the Goat. And if you’re keen on exploring the garden at your own time and pace, embark on the “Asian Tales” Garden Trail within the Floral Display and pick up interesting facts about the flora and fauna.

Chinese New Year Celebrations: Spring Surprise
Join in the Chinese New Year celebrations at the Gardens and look out for the God of Fortune Mascot at the Flower Dome, or express your creative side at the Craft Booths located at the Flower Dome and catch Lion/Dragon Dance performances at the Supertree Grove.

Movie Screening: “Valentine’s Day”
Kick start your Valentine’s Day with this romantic comedy on soft grass under a starry night in the Gardens.
