Virgin Active Survey Finds Singaporeans Are Embracing Wellness Amidst Busy Lifestyles

By  |  0 Comments

Singaporeans are increasingly prioritising their health and well-being, despite the demands of daily life.

According to the latest Virgin Active Wellness Trends Survey 2025, 81 percent of Singaporeans aspire to incorporate wellness into their daily routines, with 50 percent focusing more on wellness than they did last year.

In their pursuit of wellness, many Singaporeans are making significant lifestyle changes like improving work-life balance, adopting new exercise routines, or enhancing their time management skills. This shift reflects a growing appreciation for the importance of both physical and mental health.

Outdoor Activities on the Rise

One notable trend is the enthusiasm for outdoor activities. Walking in nature was the top choice for 50 percent of respondents, followed by hiking, swimming, and cycling. These activities not only promote physical fitness but also offer stress relief—something 70 percent of participants identified as a key benefit.

Holistic Approach to Wellness

Singaporeans are also embracing a more holistic approach to wellness that extends beyond physical fitness. Mental health, nutrition, and self-care are emerging as crucial components, with 43 percent of respondents seeking a more comprehensive wellness strategy. This includes mindfulness and mental wellness initiatives, stress management, meditation, and sleep wellness programs.

Personalised Wellness Solutions

In the digital age, the abundance of wellness information can be overwhelming, making it difficult for individuals to make informed decisions. A significant 71 percent of respondents feel that the sheer volume of information hinders their ability to identify the best wellness strategies. Furthermore, 82 percent find it challenging to distinguish between credible and unreliable sources, underscoring the need for guidance from qualified experts.
