This July, Sofitel Singapore will take guests on a gastronomic French cuisine tour at Kwee Zeen and Xperience Restaurant.

To commemorate French National Day – La Fête de la Bastille or La Fête Nationale, Sofitel Singapore Sentosa Resort & Spa will be hosting its very own Petite Bastille Festival – a mini gourmet festival that will celebrate national pride and all things delicious and French.

From 11 to 17 July, guests may enjoy a week-long merry themed buffet brunch or hearty Rotisserie dinner at Parisian-brasserie inspired restaurant, Kwee Zeen. On top of that, they can also look forward to indulging in classic French set meals at Xperience Restaurant.

On 15 and 16 July, Kwee Zeen will offer guests an opportunity to indulge in the increasingly popular Rotisserie Buffet Night with a touch of French tastes. Featuring a rotisserie spread of meats and fish along with zingy and spicy condiments such as tomato salsa and horseradish, traditional French sides such as the Provençale Rice and Broccoli Amandine also serve as delicious accompaniments.

With indulgent French desserts such as the St Honore pastry; Far Breton Chocolate, and the Mont Blanc, guests can truly conclude their meal on a sweet note. The Rotisserie Buffet is going at SGD 68 ++ per adult and SGD 38++ per child.

In addition, Kwee Zeen will take their Bastille day celebrations up a notch with a French take on its well-loved Magnifique Sunday Champagne Brunch. Together with all-time favourites – Fresh Crustaceans, Asian Selection, Fromage and Charcuterie, Kwee Zeen will present traditional staples such as French Onion Soup, Duck Rillettes on Melba toast, Foie Gras served with Parsnip Puree, and the Pain Bagnat, a popular Southern France street food featuring crusty homemade bread and tuna steak in a bed of Niçoise salad. Guests can select from other French specialties such as Ratatouille, a traditional stewed vegetable dish; Cassoulet, a rich, slow-cooked casserole; Potato Sarladaise, an indulgent dish comprising of three ingredients – potatoes, garlic and fat; and Beef Parmentier, a hearty casserole featuring mashed potatoes and beef stew.

To complete an authentic French experience, one would need cheese and desserts to end the meal. Choose from a selection of 32 kinds of cheeses at the Fromage Atelier or French classics from the La Patisserie such as the Opera cake; Croquembouche, a cone piled high with choux pastry balls and laced with sweet threads of caramel; Mille-Feuille, layer upon layer of flaky pastry and cream, and a range of Verinnes.

The Magnifique Sunday Champagne Brunch is priced at SGD 168++ per person with free flow of Tattinger Champagne and Wines.
