Klook and SG Culture Pass Make Local Arts Effortlessly Accessible
From Peranakan tea sessions to wartime café tours, Singapore’s cultural scene is getting a major boost — and it’s never been easier to dive in. Starting 1 September 2025, all Singapore Citizens aged 18 and above will receive S$100 in SG Culture Pass credits, which can be redeemed for a wide range of arts and heritage experiences. And thanks to Klook, the process is as seamless as booking a weekend getaway.
As the official ticketing partner for the SG Culture Pass, Klook is helping Singaporeans rediscover the richness of local culture — not just as spectators, but as participants.
What Is the SG Culture Pass?
Launched by the Ministry of Culture, Community and Youth (MCCY), the SG Culture Pass is a nationwide initiative designed to:
- Encourage cultural exploration
- Support local artists and heritage practitioners
- Make arts and heritage more accessible to everyday Singaporeans
Whether you’re into music, food, history or design, the Culture Pass offers curated experiences that celebrate Singapore’s identity — past, present and future.
How Klook Is Making It Easy

Klook, a platform for travel and experiences, is one of the go-to destinations for browsing and booking SG Culture Pass events. With its user-friendly interface and wide reach, Klook ensures that:

As Sarah Wan, General Manager of Klook Singapore, Malaysia and Indonesia, puts it:
“We’re privileged to partner on the SG Culture Pass, making it easier for Singaporeans to celebrate the stories, artistry, and traditions that shape who we are.”
Cultural Highlights You Can Book Now
Here are just a few standout experiences available through Klook:
SingaPop! 60 Years of Singapore Pop Culture
Curated by Dick Lee, this immersive exhibition at ArtScience Museum celebrates six decades of Singapore’s pop culture — from hawker centres and Singlish to fashion and National Day Parades. It’s a nostalgic, multimedia journey through the rojak spirit that defines us.
The Intan Tea Experience
Hosted by cultural ambassador Alvin Yapp, this award-winning home museum showcases exquisite Peranakan artefacts and traditions. The experience ends with a tea session and authentic Nyonya kuehs — warm, intimate, and deeply personal.
Baroque House Wartime Café Tour and Meal
Set in a 106-year-old shophouse, this experience blends history, food and storytelling. Guests enjoy wartime recipes like Coconut Fish Custard and Sweet Potato Kang Kong, followed by a guided tour with artist and conservator Sonia Ong.
As Ms Suenne Tan, Project Director of the SG Culture Pass Office, MCCY, notes:
“Our partners are not just promoting events but empowering people in Singapore to discover our vibrant local culture… and be inspired to experience even more.”
