Explore the Heritage of The Glenlivet Kinrossie

By  |  0 Comments

Whisky thrives on the romanticism of its colourful history, and The Glenlivet Kinrossie Single Cask Edition is no different.

Kinrossie is a hamlet that lies along one of several whisky smuggling trails on the outskirts of the Scottish market town of Perth. It was once a landmark for whisky smugglers from the earliest days of legalised whisky distilling, which counted George Smith, founder of The Glenlivet amongst its ranks before he turned legitimate and officially started the distillery that we know today.

The Single Cask Editions often bear the name of a locale with historical significance in the history of the Glenlivet, and Kinrossie has been chosen for this special bottling exclusive to Singapore. Drawn from a single hogshead cask, and bottled at a cask strength of 60.4% ABV without chill filtration, only 250 bottles of The Glenlivet Kinrossie Single Cask Edition will go on sale here.
