A twist on the classic Malay dish, the Wagyu Beef Cheek Rendang Dumpling (SGD 12.65 per piece) offers a mix of sweet, savoury and spicy flavours with its yellow-hued turmeric glutinous rice, premium Australian wagyu beef cheek and a homemade rempah (spicy paste) made with lemongrass, star anise and cardamom seeds. Reminiscent of the comforting flavours of home-cooked food, the fragrant Chicken with Salted Egg Yolk and Chestnut Dumpling (SGD 12.65 per piece) features steamed chicken along with minced ginger, salted egg yolk, fresh chestnuts, Chinese sausage, dried shrimp and flower mushrooms.

Steamed Glutinous Rice Dumpling with Abalone, Mushrooms, Lotus Seeds, Chestnut, Dried Scallop, Roasted Pork Belly, Green Beans and Salted Egg Yolk

Jiang-Nan Chun presents a range of new and signature rice dumplings this year. Making a comeback this year is the generously packed Steamed Glutinous Rice Dumpling with Abalone, Mushrooms, Lotus Seeds, Chestnut, Dried Scallop, Roasted Pork Belly, Green Beans and Salted Egg Yolk (SGD 26). A new addition this year would be the Steamed Glutinous Rice Dumpling with Mesquite Wood Smoked Duck, Green Beans and Lotus Seeds (SGD 16), which incorporates Jiang-Nan Chun’s mesquite wood smoked duck known for its strong umami taste.
