When it comes to work calls, the microphone makes all the difference in the world.

If you want an enterprise-grade headset but the idea of a boom mic isn’t appealing then the new Jabra Evolve2 Buds might just be what the doctor ordered.

On paper, the Evolve2 Buds checks off the most important feature boxes for work-centric headsets: certification for leading virtual meeting platforms, including Microsoft Teams and Zoom. It’s also able to reduce disruptive background noise coming through your microphone to improve the call experience.

The latter is down to what Jabra calls MultiSensor Voice, a system comprising four microphones, bone conduction sensors and advanced algorithms. On the listening end, the Evolve2 Buds have the same features as their mainstream models like the Elite series. This includes features like MyFit, a test to ensure that you have the right earbuds on to optimise noise isolation. The ANC and Hearthrough settings can also be personalised, while SafeTone with PeakStop helps protect your hearing by keeping noise within tolerable limits and preventing sudden noises.

On top of that, the Evolve2 Buds comes with an in-case dongle to be used with a PC. This offers a more stable wireless connection as well as a long range of up to 20 metres, ensuring more flexibility in taking calls. The earbuds are good for five hours of talk time (up to eight hours) with a total of 33 hours of battery if you factor in the Qi-certified (wireless charging) charging case. It takes just five minutes to get an hour’s worth of talktime, so you can always do a quick recharge when you go for a toilet break.

The Evolve2 Buds come in both USB A & USB C variants and are available now at SGD 424 (SGD 479 with wireless charging pad).
